I am a seasoned accountant and active Oregon CPA who has worked with many industries: professional service firms, energy utilities, distributors, retail sales, transportation, real estate.  I’ve also worked for the largest regional public accounting firm, focusing on taxes.  The last 5 years of my career have been in Controller roles offering me a broad exposure to all facets of the accounting puzzle.  I've had the pleasure of working with many wonderful people in my career and I look forward to this new adventure.

My success has been with helping business owners better utilize the tools they have for managing their business.  This can be done through more efficient use of computer software tools, preparing a budget or even talking with employees to better understand the problems they encounter in order to improve their processes.  Sometimes problems are easily resolved through better communication.

I can provide services on many levels – from helping catch up your daily bookkeeping, assisting with a computer conversion, preparing your monthly financial statements including an analysis of results, or organizing your books for tax time.  I understand how the daily transactions fit into the bigger picture of the financial statements and the "story" those transactions can tell you about your business.
